I dont smell any ozone at all with my set up!

I agree with Frank and Herman, if you know what your doing ozone will not pose a problem in the home. and for those who don't take time to understand what they are playing with ozone will just help weed the gene pool of stupidity.

I change it just about once a monthjhale said:most impressive.
my one question is that I have always heard using carbon in a reactor
shortens it's life. in that it's so efficient it sucks up the maximum amount of pollutants very quickly. have you found this to be the case?
I'm just worried the carbon since it's always running would be less effective at removing the ozone over time. how often is it changed?
my orp was right on target before I added Ozone good husbandry and a good skimmer will contribute to that. I use the ORP controller so I dont over use the O3 It will not raise ORP like everyone believesfritz said:Melev did a piece on Ozone usage on his reefcast site. He mentioned that he doesn't use any ozone but when he checked his ORP it was right on target. He wondered what others were doing that they required ozone to raise the ORP when his was already so high.
(disclaimer-> I know nothing about ozone usage)
3" tube it's 20" high silica came from Aqua farmerstwinreef said:thanks for the pics. what size tube did you use for the reactor and the silica beads.
