HOW much DO you DOSE on the Daily basis?? to maintain ur CAL, ALK, MAG
do you also doser Iodine , Strontium ,ECt ? if u do dose other supplements, please let me know .thanks in advance .

i dose about .3ML/gallon of cal and Alk , and MAg each day.

I don't dose. I do weekly water changes and ESV takes care of the rest for me:hug:

I use to use ESV 2 part. But now that I do weekly water changes I don't need to anymore.

I keep my magnesium high, around 1500, so every now and then I take powder magnesium and add if I see it's ever a little low.

pretty simple, measure everything before water change, then measure few hours afterwards, then dont dose all week and measure again, this will allow you to determine your tank usuage and dose accordingly

you cant really go by what others do.some have huge colonies and pople like myself have small to medium frags which im dosing 15ml a day.

I have to agree with duke on that post. For example im dosing off seachem fusion 1 & 2 twice a week and sometimes 3 times a week.

How do you measure the Iodine consumption ? Isn't 18 drops of lugols daily too much ? I add 10 drops a week. but I discontinued because the test kit was confusing.

I would like some advice on lugols iodine dosing as well. Harlequin I almost had a heart attack reading the 18 drops daily until I saw the 600 gal tank! Lol. After 18 months of reefing I finaly figured out how much to dose my 100 gallon net system now I'm onto the iodine thing. I purchased a redsea test kit and have tried to work with it but it doesn't seem like an exact science. Harlequin what is the net amount of water in ur system? How did u get to the number 18 daily?

you dont dose at all? what are your levels by the end of the week when you are up for water change? i do weekly water changes as well and i dont see my levels staying staeady if i do not dose
