Fuge grow lite suggestions

Looking for a cheap grow lite for my 30 gal fuge. I've heard people purchase from home depot but I'll spend a few bucks more for a
crazy lite

I use 2 clip on lamps with these bulbs in them

Me too, mine cost probably around $100. 24 x 3W CREE Q5 LED's running at 750mA... about 54W total based on the amps and I harvest about a basketball size of chaeto every week.

One thing I support using LED is that LED do not deteriorate like the PC or T5. One of my fuge never have extra macro yield because I am too lazy to keep changing the bulb. When the bulb is new, macro grow fast but after a while the whole fuge thing just die down and I always forget to change it or make enough excuses for myself to ignore it.

I just compare the price of a CF with the clamp and a MR16 bulb with the PS, it' only $18 vs $38. Too little difference not to go with LED!
