Throughout the day my Favia sends out long clear tentacles that get really long and the whole piece becomes covered in it. The entire coral measures 7 inches x 5 inches with a half oval dome shape, so you can imagine how many tentacles there are. I was wondering what these tentacles could be looking for? I understand part of it is his defense mechanism by making sure other corals don't get to close. I'm sure he's also looking for food and was wondering what is the ideal thing to feed him. Thanks for your help!!!
