This time I am going to offer something very unique in my opinion, custom LEDs pre-build and build on site. Please check the DIY Revolution Thread for the possible arrangement of a setup. I can offer most of the stuff in raw, semi prepared and even build them at the swap. They are quite easy to do, I may bring some tools and set aside a little space and you can have you actinic bar, refuguim light or even a 24 LEDs dual channel remote controlled custom LED in an hour.

I think you can use the same 12W Savior but remind me to add lens to ALL 6 LEDs.


Due to the added height it should give you enough coverage and power.

I actually can make a 18W model but then the heat may be too high and requires a fan. There seems to be no more space inside the hood for that without getting the salt spray. If the look of a fan outside the grid is not an issue to you, then I can make a 18W model and send you the fan as well-you can put it on the outside

This is how the new fluval edge 12 gallon LED module look: is there a way we can take out the original led module and add one of your powerful units (for coral) inside the splash guard?

First remove the splash guard. Measure the clearance that we can have for power LEDs and lens. Show us the pics too. The key to this would be the height from the black plastic to the clear splash guard. The lens will take up some height.

If you are asking about the Edge Savior on a Spec, I can show you how it can be mounted even though the tank is a currently a planted holding holding/Qt tank. We need to scale down the lens to 2 pcs instead of 4 or dimm the light to lower the intensity.

If the look is good after I mounted it, I will consider a version with 2 x 3x1W instead of 2 x 3x2W so that it won't burn the corals. Expect this version to be showing in the Swap
