DAS skimmers

I know a few people here use these skimmers so i had a couple questions.

I found this link to get them but i cant find a phonenumber or email to ask any questions so here goes.

does anyone know the height, body diameter, and footprint of the ex1?
does it use the aquabee 2001 pump?
is that the cheapest place to get it.

I was going to try the new pacific coast rps 2000 recirc. skimmer, but after they raised the price i figure i'd get something with a proven pump for only $40 more

HA HA HA. Even if you had a number you would be hard pressed to get any info from them. I think that is the only reason why they dont sell more skimmers because they are truly awesome.

The pump it uses is not 2001 but the aquabee 2000/1.

Ass far as the dimensions, gove solbby a pm. He uses that skimmer.

I will measure mine tonight and take some pic, since I forget the dimensions. But my DAS skimmer is AWESOME! Very easy to use/clean and maintain. It also produces vast amounts of skimmate even in dry mode.

i called trop, but they dont have them in stock for a while and couldnt tell me a price or any dimensions for some reason.

Yes, they use the same pumps. Modified eheim

i'm pretty sure its an aquabee but from what i know aquabee is made by eheim. i used to have an h&s skimmer with an aquabee put and it was great.

Where are those pics and specs we were promised???lol, just a reminder....i'm on the fence, thinking asm g4x or this, but i don't have the specs to this skimmer, i'll continue to look.

6 inch wide tube. The skimmer itself is 22 inches high.
