Post Picts....how?

There are a few ways to post picture in forums.

Method 1: Post the picture on a third party web server, picture host services, websites, etc.. Then when you posting a reply or new topic just click on the img icon on the posting screen and a window will prompt you for the url of the picture.

Method 2: Upload the picture to manhattanreef Photo Gallary. To do this,
1. click on photo gallery
2. click "upload" on upper right corner
3. click "browse" on the file #1 and search for your file on your harddrive. Keep on doing this for the rest of the file #2...#4 if you have other file to upload.
4. After upload is complete, click on home and find your username and click on it.
5. Look for the file you want to post and click on the thumbnail to enlarge. After that, you will be taken to another page.
6. Right-click on the picture and click properties.
7. Select and copy what is the "address/url" of the properties windows dialog. It should look something like this "http://www.manhattanreefs.com/users/00000123/mytank.jpg".

Tips: Either remeber or jog down your gallery directory. "http://www.manhattanreefs.com/users/00000123/" This way you don't have to go through this step everytime. When posting in the future just append the picture you just upload to the gallery ditectory.

8. Now that you have the url of the picture, you click on the button when replying and paste the url into the dialog box.

9. Done and happy posting..
