Wassup people....Let me give a little background. I'm from Rockland and i'm new to saltwater scene not to mention reef stuff. I have my tank for a little more than a year now. It is gear towards my ultimate goal to do a reef tank with different kinds of mixed corals from Softies to SPS. I have a 65g tank with DIY canopy and 2 DIY sump/fuge. The tank is not drilled so i have an overflow box. Lighting wise...I have 1x175W MH with 14kk bulb and 2 T5 HO 39w. I just got a 1/4 aqualogic chiller and a Typhon III RO/DI unit.

Now thats done.....i have a few question....how do you get into the frag swap? do you need to have a frag to swap or can you just get in and buy stuff? Thanks

Welcome Tranz!!
You will find a lot of good people on this board that will fill up your tank quite quickly with good stuff at good prices.

The fragswap is unfortunately full at the moment. You can however be placed on the waitlist and hope that something opens up.

Just keep an eye on the FS thread. Nice things being sold daily!!!

BTW what skimmer do you have?

Thanks for the warm welcome. My check actually begging me to stop but I enjoy my "addiction" way too much to give it up.

As for the Skimmer, I have a Berlin turbo Skimmer which I modify. What I did was I added more air into it by drilling a hole where the venturi supposed to be(it's turbo so no venturi needed) and glue in a tube so that i can pump air via an air pump. It works great i prolly get about 1/2 the cup in 4 days.
