Clown fish from deathco..

i went to death co to pick up fish..cause the guys are idiots that work their they sell 100$ fish for like 10 bucks..just have to convince them anyway..the percula tank was empty..i go into the next part of it..they had one...it is almost naked with no white stripes...just orange..and a little white..obviously this is a rare..i got the fish for 15$...how much money did i get away with..how much does this fish usually cost? :beer:

sounds like a common clown fish, w/ one white strip hahaha- probably just a juvi and hasnt grown into a stripe. Which petco did u go to?

Umm, don't most juvi clowns appear misbarred anyway? Including still developing stripes? :scratchch

What sort of $100 fish do they sell for $10? I been to Deathcos 5 X in past year and never see anything "worth" it based on health + price, at all. Frankly I have seen better SW fish at Petlands!

These "naked" clowns are genetic quirks that have been selectively bred at ORA. I saw the adult brood stock a few months back--- pretty cool. I don't know why anyone woud by stuff at Petco, but at least the clowns are all captive -bred so the massive die-off is at least not impacting the wild
