Deltec Family is Complete

looks good! what do you think of the skimmers performance? does it perform better then the mrc? thanks

I think it's doing a great job, but i'm still trying to dial it in correctly. I'm using an mag 9 to run it and it's alittle too powerfull so i had to install a ball valve in between the skimmer and the pump so i can reduce the flow of the pump. But just to make a quick statement. Below is a pic of a skimmer that i borrowed from Rich (Rborgia, THanks Rich) from Lifereef Filter system. That skimmer kick butt on my system. the stuff it pulled out was incredible. I installed it on a stand in the sump so it did not have any back pressure and boy did it rock. I just want to thank Rich for lending me the skimmer with no interest in return. I will be giving him a VERY NICE FRAG of my Hydno and Green Slimer for beiing so helpful.

Dave, the Deltecs are def. worth it. Did you try to gravity feed the skimmer? I had my deltec fed with a pump in the beginning, but then I converted to gravity feeding it, and the difference is amazing. Ill post pics to show you how I did that
