That's a great shot Sean. That must have been fun to jump into your tank!

I think that 240ish is the biggest I would have. However, that doesn't mean that I would have only one, ;) .

One would be a SPS mixed reef and another would be a softie tank (zoanthids, shrooms, anemones, toadstools, etc). i.e. similar to my present tanks, however, just much bigger.

six feet tall is a pain in the behind to clean

it's 2 inch acrylic so the only magnets to clean it don't float (I hear Mag-float just came out with one but I have the tank in storage now). Jumping into a huge tank is fun and all but when it's work it's not the same.

240 is a nice size and not to hard to deal with.
I find anything over 30" gets to be a bit of a pain.

Perfecto makes a 265 thats realy nice 7' x2'x30"

Sean

Six feet must be very hard to clean, specially with 2" acrylic. I know my tank, which is 3' and has 3/4" acrylic is very hard to clean without the magnets that float. You almost have to get into the tank to clean it.

The people that make the Tiger Shark, GreatWhite and other float-Magnet in WI where coming out with a very large float-magnet sometime last spring-summer. I was going to get it but never followed up. Right now I'm just making do with what I have which covers up to 1" acrylic and floats.

yep I have to get in that baby to clean it

The largest magfloat I have is for acrylic tanks up to 1 1/4" thick. I'm pretty sure they have one now for up to 2" thick.
