can I use a pc8 on a RK lite

have had a REEF keeper Lite for a while but have not installed it yet. b4 buying 2 pc4's to have more outlets, can i atach it to a pc8 instead? i see you can attach a pc4 to another pc4 but i rsther not do it that way. anyone can give me any info on this? thanks in addvance.

Not aware of a PC8 for RKL/RKE. They have the PC1 (2 outlets) or PC4 (4 outlets). The RK2 had a PC8 (8 outlet) but don't believe RKL/RKE is backwards compatible with it.

ok, so the its only the RK2 that can use the PC8. So i guess i'll have to buy 2 PC4 to have more than 4 outlets right?

As far as I'm aware of, yes. If you look at the RKL/RKE's modules, there's only PC1/PC4 available for power outlet expansion. Also, here's DA's post on the incompatibilities. http://198.92.103.102/forums/showthread.php?p=17759783

Otherwise, yes you are right about PC4 x2 for 8 power outlets.
