Anyone else un sure if they want to put them selves back to the Manhattan Swap? Last year was ruff and Im leary about going again. I do like seeing the members and vendors along with buying new frags but to me its just way hectic. Im thinking if we go were will be way early, doors open Im in and out. Kind of a waste but it gets too over crowded and hot.

thats part of the fun of the swap, no different then going to any event thats worth going to, it gets crowded, but being there first thing allows you more choice of corals, but best deals are at the end of the day

I've never had this problem myself at the swap, I don't find it that crowded. Try to ride the 6 train in rush hours- that is crowded.

My biggest mistake was not buying at first sight, i walked around checked out all the vendors. By the time i got back around to the first vendor, the frag i wanted was gone.
I HATE crowds! I don't even like having parties at my place, don't go to clubs, shop early morning week days during Christmas, so on & so on, but when it comes to the MR Swap meets I deal with the crowds really really well.
There is just something about being amongst the MR family that makes me feel safe, and comfortable. As to being over heated, well it is being held in December. Heck one swap that I went to I knew it was going to be a very warm day, so I carried a portable fan.lol

Least its not in manhattan again (hopifully). Its way better at Pratt (IMO)
The both swaps I've been to weren't that bad I actually helped out the mornin of on the first one and the day before on the second this year I don't think ill be makeing the swap just cause I won't have any money to spend with the equipment upgrade but I'm sure everyone that goes will have a good time and leave happy
