Anyone have any opinions on the DBA corner overflows? Specifically the 120 gallon.
I like corner overflows on tanks to maximize room in the tank but I thought I heard companies in the past had problems with the bottom pane cracking so they moved the overflows inboard.
A 120 AGA has two overflows so large that it defeats the purpose of getting a larger tank.

I know you said 120 gallon. I have DBA 90gal. corner filter. I like it but had to change bulk fitting to go into PVC instead of using hose. Other wise very quite. If you don't want PVC as a line a hose will work with stock fitting that comes with it....

I have a DB RR tank with a single corner overflow, so far so good. Although the tank comes with barbed bulkheads which you'll probably want to replace unless you prefer barbed bulkheads personal preference. It's a pretty solid tank. I had to trim my return standpipe a bit as it was too high up for my taste but that's easily doable with a pvc cutter, install is pretty straight forward as well. Corner overflow was nice and sealed no leaks into the overflow area that was the first thing I tested the 75 was drilled with a 1" hole and 3/4" return.

How long have you had the tanks?

I would prefer a threaded fitting, but I am more concerned about the condition of the glass in the corner where the bulkhead goes through.

I got it 4 weeks ago. Paid $260.00 for 90 gal RR .....NICE TANK.. to me I thought it was a good deal.. Made my own stand... Don't like they stands.. very cheap not soild at all......

Had the tank about 4 months now I can tell you they don't feel cheap at all. Had an aga 90 before this and a oceanic before that can't really tell the difference except for the bulkheads and the black silicon seal (which I also had on a previous tank) they're pretty much the same. The bottom and 4 sides are tempered btw, I know this for a fact because they're all stamped.

I won't bought it if I thought it was cheap. I know that Oceanic makes a thicker glass. but other companys are about the same. Don't be fooled by the black silcone that is not how thick the glass is. ..... I like the tank ..my 2 cent.. Check with your LFS I know DB has tank sales often.. I saved $30 on my.
