Hi guys,
In a few weeks I'm going to be moving to a new apartment (to an elevator building from an elevator building). Shortly before that a new custom, acrylic aquarium will be sent to me by Midwest Custom Aquariums. They will deliver it to a shipping terminal where I'll pick it up and bring it back to my new place in Manhattan. I'm going to need help with this - particularly getting it into the apartment and putting the tank on the stand. Would anyone be interested in lending me a hand? It's still a few weeks away, but I figured I'd ask now just in case no one can help and I need to figure out a plan B..
Now for the incentive part.
In exchange fo a helping hand I can offer a few frags, lots of live sand, some extra equipment and a six-pack.
If you can also lend me the use of a pick-up truck or cargo van to bring the new tank home, I'll throw in my existing 120g Oceanic Tech tank (with starfire glass), the 30g sump, a DIY hang-on refugium and the stand (though it has water damage and should be replaced before setting up the tank). In the interest of full disclosure the Oceanic is currently home to my reef until I can get the new tank up wnd running. So, there will be a week or two between when we move my new tank and when the Oceanic will be ready for you to take home.
Can anyone help me out?
Thanks.
Robin
P.S. Here are the parent colonies of a couple of the frags I have:
Blue photosynthetic sponge
Bright green, plating montipora
