better snail for algae

Looking to supplement my cleanup crew, thinking either turbo snail or cerith snails. which one is better for assisting in algae control. i have been battling some algae issues, not hair algae, my guess is cyano or diatoms.

im sure someone will ask, i have been doing weekly water changes ro/di and recently installed a phosban reactor....

Verity snail I think is better.

verity or variety? i know sometimes when i type on the ipad it comes out effed up.

i have a few other snails in system now, not really helping me out

I prefer the Trochus snails. They are long lived and warm water snail that will graze in your tank for years. Turbos are great but will not last long.

Snails nor any other part of a cleanup crew will solve an algae problem. Once it is solved then they can clean up the remainder and keep it clean.
