My 220 has been set up since 2/10 and at one time was on its way to becoming a nice mixed reef. I unfortunately did not keep up with it and it slowing declined, hair algae etc. I am now trying to bring it back but need to make it easier and cheaper to maintain. I was even considering switching it to african cichlids or FO to cut costs and maintenance, but have decided to go with one of of the two options below. My remaining fish are a blue face, regal tang, engineer goby and lyretail anthias. The only corals left a leathers and brown polyps.

1. remove the blue face and change the tank into a softy tank, keep a smaller fish load

2. keep the blue face, add leathers only and create an angel butterfly tank, obviously more and larger fish

Any thoughts? Any ideas on fish I could house with either choice. I have always really liked keeping fish and a full blown reef really can't handle any decent fish load.

thanks
