A friend has one for a small fresh water setup that he is putting next to his reef. Nice looking, self-contained. Doubt that the LED light is strong enough to support much more than mushrooms, etc.
They are well designed (I believe they were originally manufactured in Italy).
The price point on them isn't that great (IMO) for a nano although the craftsmanship was excellent. I saw them at a trade show a few years ago and was fascinated by them. After careful review, i didn't think they were the best option for a desktop Pico or nano tank. But that's just my opinion.
If you are ever in Connecticut, Greenwich Aquaria has a several setups on display. One is a reef with a small clam, but I doubt that it would be a long term home for it.
my good friend has one. its his first set up for salt....and it blows.
he has the 9g. the light has been changed due to no coral being happy. the filter was changed do to under powered. it was just a mini pain. he is getting rid of it soon and if you are looking for one im sure he would sell it
ill snap some pics of it if you want
although i will admit, it is nicely made. should come with a par 38 though...
