Can mandarin do well in hypo salinity or cupramine treatment?

How about purple pseudo chromis and fire fish for hypo salinity and copper in qt.

Do fish in qt need bright lights, or is stray light from dt enough?

Why are you going to try and stress out the fish. Just setup your QT tank and watch for any diseases. That's all.

I would only QT a manderin to get them on frozen/prepared foods, they have a very thick slime coat that makes them almost impervious to ich.

Do not run both hypo and copper, only use one and I have found Cupramine to be very good for treating ich.

Fish can be left with room lighting, no need to waste electric on bright lights; my QT uses a single T5 lamp.

So u guys add mandarin directly to dt, there is very little risk? If so ill do same.

Is amquel and amquel plus the same?i have amquel plus.

my qt is one day old, its a 15t, has pseudochromi and fire fish.can I start amquel right away?i dont mind if it has no harm.

Also any chance amquel and cupramine can be used together?

DO NOT use amquel or any dechlorinator together with any copper treatment. It exponentially makes the copper stronger and potentially lethal.

IMO...purple Pseudo can be very aggressive, and may cause firefish to jump from QT, or DT

Wow you r right, the pseudo is chasing my fire fish now.
Fire fish is in its own floating fuge.

Will pseudo chromi fight with other stuff in my 75dt like
Yt,yt damsel,cherub angel, mandarin,cb and pep shrimps, clam,f.duster,cucs?

Pls advice I might have to take him to lfs...thx
