Thank you folks. I figured as such, but being out of the hobby for 2 years made me a little rusty. There'a a lot of new stuff out there in the last 2 years. My tank is a tech 120. I plan on keeping some fish, LPS, and assorted softies. I don't My tank isn't put together yet. I recently got all the parts I feel I needed, but I think I'm going to wait until after Christmas to set it up (to much going on). In the mean time, I will slowly start putting everything together. I decided to go with dry rock, so I can take my time designing a cool rock formation.Exactly.......
The salt has the same components as every other salt, just better (IMO) grade components. Every salt has Alk, Ca, Mg, & trace elements. No different than ESV.
The animals you have in your tank will dictate the required dosing. If you have mostly softies and LPS, your supplemental uptake will be less than if you have a heavily populated SPS tank.
