The LAST thing you want to do is change pH quickly.

A series of water changes over a few days will bring the pH down.

I'd first figure out why it is as high as it is. Have you been dosing the tank? If so, stop now.

What are you dosing it with?

What do u mean dosing it

The basic question is how did your pH get to be 8.7?
That doesn't happen from doing water changes. It will only happen when something has been added to the tank..as in an additive or some sort..adding Ca or Alk or kalk or something like Purple Up.

It is rare that a salt mix on it's own would cause pH to climb that high unless you got a bad batch. Can it happen, yes, but it's rare.

Can you get the pH level checked tomorrow by another reefer or at your LFS?

Best not to react too quickly - as stated above, your reading could be incorrect. If the tank has been at this level, leave it alone until you are SURE the pH is really at that level.
A fast change in pH level is worse than leaving it alone overnight.

U think is good I ran the Ro line to my sump giving extra water at the same time running a line from the tank to a bucket taking out water going slow

Taking out SW and replacing it with RO water is not a good plan.

RO water should be used as top off for water that has evaporated.

SW that is being removed from a tank (as one would do during a water change) should be exchanged for the same amount of SW.

What is you salinity?

I just checked your tank thread.

You have coral and your salinity is 1.021? That is low.

You have a crinoid in your tank??? Do you know how to feed it properly? They are very tough to keep alive.
Your elegance coral looks bad...they should be inflated with water in the body and the tentacles (yours looks like it is dying, unless the pic was taken while it was in/deflating)

Best of luck
