Tank stands

So I installed a refugium today and in doing so I never realize how the weight is up ported on these manufactured stands! I'm actual scared to put all the weight on my stand. Grant it I've owned the tank for years and it hasn't been a problem yet but I am thinking of making my own stand now. I have wanted to put my tank into a wall so now may be the chance. So this leads to a question. My tank is in a finished basement. Rather then have the wood from the stand sit on the ground has anyone ever heard of using this cement blocks they use to build decks on? I was thinking that might me a good option. And ideas would be great. I'll post some pics of the refugium when I get a chance.

you can use cinder block and then just put a 2x depending on the with, just have to make sure that the floor is level, it is very hard to level cinder block
