It only had two model selections which were super Blue and SOL white and I have the SOL Blue and the firmware is up to date so says the website.Is it okay to select Super Blue?

Keep in mind that I was switching from LEDs to LEDs and also this is a final adjustment after 2 months of slowly increasing to the below settings. You can easily bleach out your corals especially placements under the center 40 degree optics.

I also have the AI SOL Blues.....Powerful LEDs for sure. When I first got mine, I had to move all of my SPS frags to the mid section of my tank, it was just too strong. If you like to keep some SPS near the top, or they are already mounted, you can run your AIs at a milder setting by only retracting 10%. I found that corals still thrive, and it just seems right. Of course, every tank is different, but one thing is for sure, you will not be disappointed with the AIs in the long run. Stunning coral growth under these modules.

Mine are about 12 inches AWL.

BTW I hate the controller!!! It is a PIA to use. You have to spin the dial so far to actually change it. The timer were just all messed up on mine and I needed to reset it to factory. Lights were on, that were not active on the current timer. Good thing is that I don't have any corals yet!

Hi my name is nyc reefer and Im addicticted :lol_large to my AIs SOL BLUES!!!

In all seriousness, they are truely beautiful lights, Im still in the honeymoon stage with mine. I finally set them up 12" above the water, I am currently running three, but will be removing one dont think I need all three on my 72ga bow. As for the controller its great in my opinion gives you so much control over them, yeah the single knob makes it a little difficult but once you get the hang of it, its okay.

Pecan2phat I will try out your setting, I've been slowly ramping up for the last week but should now be ready for more power Scotty, lol.

I have switched from t5 about 1 month ago and I seen my zoa are reaching for more light. But my birds nest bleached out on me. Can the birds nest bleach cuz of not enough light. My highest setting is only 45w 55b 55r.
