i have a 75 gallon reef tank, and i am starting to notice what looks like the base of bubble caulerpa growing all over my live rock. i just put a tomini tang in lastnight do you think this guy will eat it. if not i was going to try an emerald crab. any other suggestions or help as to what i can do? thanks guys

I don't know of any fish or snails that eat the stuff. Apparently caulerpa contains a toxin. I have heard that some sea slugs will eat it, but not any species that's being cultivated or collected that I'm aware of. Manually removing it works, but it's hard to get it all and you need to net out any small pieces that break loose and float in the water column.

so hard to get one answer in this hobby lol. i read alot of threads that tangs will eat it and alot of threads that say they wont. i also read alot of threads that say emerald crabs and fox faces will eat it. what to do what to do lol
