Pale lipped tang

Anyone ever have one of these tangs?

Yes, it 's Acanthurus leucocheilus, and goes under a couple of names, Pale Lipped and white face are the common ones. It's pretty docile and usually gets along with other tangs. Gets about 12"-14" range and eats all the regular food that you would feed a tang. Good guy to add to a group of tangs.

Thanks. My lfs has one about 4-5 inches Not sure what price they sell for tho. I don't wanna over pay for it

It shouldn't go for no more than $60-$75, as it's not a very popular tang and it's available most of the time, unlike some of the others.

Also, the smaller ones don't have a lot of color or markings, that something that will change as it gets larger.

It's not small. It has blue on the edges of its fins already

Everywhere I look online they are well over $100

Then don't look online, go to some LFS, that's where I got mine, and it was about $40.
