You mean thats not spread out? Lol. If you dont mess with them they will only split. You do mess around they spread spores... Thats when you get the growths all over the tank.

It has a soft tissue base not a skeletal base...

I have had mojanos and aiptasia before and they didn't look like this

If it doesn't have a hard skeletal base, it's not a duncan. If it doesn't recede into the rock, it's not aiptasia. Does it close up into little round balls when the lights are out?

Nope they don't close into little round balls, they just get a lil smaller
