I was sitting at Harry's burritos (around the corner from Jhale's place) when the gunshots went off. Some fool who had a problem with another guy tried to put a shot in him.

The gun went off about 4' behind my head, outside the window where I was sitting.

the sad thing is I didn't even flinch.

dinner was good, and so were the $2 margaritas.

Off to bed, have to clean the house for the bbq tomorrow.

Well lemme tell u one thing (im givin u jewels here, lol). If u really wanna get a girls eye, give her all the attentions she wants for like a week, after that, act like if shes not there. She is gonna miss the attention and crave for it. Just my 2 cents.

okay Kris, here's some free advice, be yourself, be confident, and be funny, and most of all relax. if you want to talk to a girl anywhere just find something to compliment them about or ask an innocent question, anything to get a conversation started. this works pretty much anywhere except subways and elevators, there's a weirdness factor that you need to work hard to get around then, but that can come later.

I know its not late but i just cant stay up to post on this thread and i cant contain myself, I have to post this.
Firstly, i have witnessed two successful pick ups on the F train in the last couple of weeks. Other than that i second everything jhale said, especially funny, you can be as ugly as hell but if your funny you've got it made.
secondly, the other nights discussion about feet has forced me to post this picture that someone emailed me the other day.

Ive never been the type to go up to a girl either, I always look at these wise guys "pssstt pssst"ing girls walking by, and would hate to be viewed as one of those 'tarts

I totally agree with DRZL, whats the point in "psst,ing" girls. I usually dont waste time on walking up to girls that I dont know. I rather get to know a girl as a person first, then try to move on from there. Some people say that is risky, cuz then the girl will look at u as a "friend." That can be easily avoided by not having "girl talks." You want to avoid those on all costs, if you want to get with the girl. Damn, life used to be soooo much easier when girls had cooties and clothes didnt have to match.
