Dosing vinegar

Anybody buddy just doing vinegar here started dosing along with mb7 to anybody doing the same thing?

I have been dosing vodka and I am having okay results with it but I started off with lower doses then what they recommend. Vinegar and Mb7 is not clear cut since Mb7 sometimes will not provide the suitable bacteria needed for what you are looking for in the carbon source.

You use just vinegar? Do you dose the prodiboi every 14 days and when my nitrates drop I still cut it in half that is my daily dose right?

my present dosing:
70ml of vinegar every day, dose via profilux
prodibio : 1amp of digest every 14 days/ 5 amp of tim every 14 days.
speacial blend bacteria -- dose once a month 90ml
this all based on 250 g of water with heavy bioload and a lot of corals..

Jerl I should have mention I'm also using prodibo with vinegar I don't use mb7 I tried it once but ran out continued dosing noticed no difference ! I do believe that prodibo has really helped my tank

Hey matt
based on my exp my dosing comes from corals respond. i start with min dosage, and go up slow and see how my corals respond. also, its bad if you strip nutrients fast - this will lead to STN.
i dose vinegar 10ml per 100g -never had negative results.

Ok I'm up too 15 ml for my 75gal with 15 gal sump !! I won't up the dose anymore for now

sounds good. just watch po4/no3 and how corals respond- thats the main thing

Po4 is .06 according too red sea po4 test the new one
No3 undetectable
But
I still grow cheto like crazy and have a little alage on my live rock I think Its leaching po4 because my sand is clean

i am not familar with red sea tst kits, i use photometers.
i test po4 with photometers only
alk with checker
ca/mg with elos . I HATE SALIFERT!!)
