not sure what you mean by cold solder?. i just unplugged them for 3o min and plugged them back in and they were fine. but now they are blinking again. lloks like once they get hot they blink. does that make sense?
had my pumps crap out earlier this week and now this.
a cold solder is when there is a point that is making minimal contact. If you have a multimeter you can do a continuity check all of your connections to see if they are making good contact between points.

i took apart hood. looks like a month ago when i took hood apart to clean i left one of the wires that connects the loop of the 4 blues on top of main led heat sink. i took wie off heat sink and placed it around heat sink. lights have not turned off since. crossing fingers. could wire getting to hot cause the loop to blink? the wire was pressed against the heat sink and reflector was screwed over the wire on sink.
