problem with my corals and lighting

i have not added a phosphate reactor because i have no problems with algae or anything like that actually my tank is covered in Coraline right now but its turning white i think because of the strong white bulbs that came with the unit imbarrie ( i have read coraline likes a blue tone compared to the white to keep the purple) . i plan on switching those out all to blue when i get home from my vacation. but on the other note my Duncan's are the only ones showing white tips how ever all my other corals are a lot smaller then they use to be and have slowly gotten smaller rather then larger over the course of my tank being set up. the Light issue with acclimation makes total sense cause i didnt do this for my corals but if they were really ill effected cause of it wouldn't something of happened a long time ago? the tank has already been up close to 3 months now with your lights. and btw the duncans have always been placed on the bottom of the tank never moved them since i set it up.

Have you added any coral since you changed the lights over?

yea 2 toadstools and a purple tip hammer. the toadstools are always opened and closed which i am assuming is the norm for them? and the hammer has all its color and everything seems good with it.

Is there a canopy? How high off the water are the lights?

yea their is a canopy but i have two big squares cut out the top of it for ventilation and the lights are about 5 inches off the water
