No Coraline Algae? Why?

I have a 175 g with crazy lights. Three 250 watt MH bulbs with 2 80 T-5 bulbs. Lights are on 9 hours a day.

Water parameters: Calcium is 425, Mg is 1300, Alk is 9 and salinity is 1.024.

I have coraline on the black overflow boxes, and some one the back glass, but not a lot. And, more importantly, I have very little coraline on the live rock. Almost every tank I have seen running for 2+ years had rock that is entirely purple. What gives? I have some rock that doesn't have a spot of coraline on it? Can you you guys help? I want my rock to be purple, not brown crap. Thanks!

Are your phosphates level low and is this a relatively new tank?

i think you need to provide more info than that... maybe maintenance schedule.. as well.

With lighting like that you'll never have all that much coraline. It doesnt like "crazy" lighting.
