I turned on my skimmer today... and low and behold to my surprise I did not see any bubbles coming up the hose from the pump body. So I take the pump out... I see a little bit of water in my exhaust hose, so I drain it.
Turn on the pump again... no good... only water coming up the skimmer.
Take pump out... inspect... look in the exhaust port... damn bristle worm got stuck in it!!!! Had to have been dead and stuck in there for a day or two as that was the last time I turned on my skimmer... RIP beeeeeechhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!
