Thank you zenfish. Good advice, unfortunately I don't think it will colonize soon enough. So at this point I think I will just let the chaeto do it's job.

I put a handful of chaeto in the tank, and that has made a difference. Trites & trates moved down a bit. Trates went down more then the trites though. Hope they go down by next week.
WOO HOO!!! best to add more surface area for the BIG bioload of fish.
It's cycled!!!!! Just in time too.
I believe the small amount of Chaeto did it.
