Remora..bubbles?

i have micro bubbles...but i heard that it takes 2 weeks for the skimmer to break in..and the bubbles will go away? any suggestions.. :lobster:

I had Remora for month than a month but that microbubble next went away. I heard alot of people had problem with microbubble so it wasn't just me.

Did you change that pump?


You can put a sponge on the out-put of the skimmer to reduce the bubbles.
You have a small tank.......might be hard to get rid of them.

Yep, I used to put a sponge sometimes, but make sure it doesn't back-up the water and flood your place!! (I did that too.)

For your size tank, a MJ1200 would be enough.
Keep in mind......the pump will be inside your tank, so space is an issue.


Regarding the skimmer box.....it's larger than it appears.
It works ok, but if you don't constantly maintain the water level in your tank, you'll be quick to run the pump dry.

I do still have the box and it worked fine...but you have a pretty small tank and the box migh take up half of it!! :banghead:
