New radion with a new tank

I'm back in the hobby after getting rid of my 180 I'm back with a 57 rimless with these new lights.

How do u like the ecotech light so far.. Do u have enough coverage for the whole tank.

I just bought some corals today so I'll find out in time but I'll tell u this it seems the coverage takes over the tanks and then some. The shimmering is insane on all ends of the tank.

Im getting the same tank sometime in the next week and was looking into LED lighting. Is one Radion good enough for the 57 rimless. If you plan to keeps SPS wouldn't be more ideal to have two. I am also looking at the AI's but I hear that they are very spotty and would have to be raised pretty high to get a good spread.

Very nice !!!! Im setting up an Elos 70 with Radions in a week or two. Just waiting on a Bashsea Fuge as my sump. I went with 2 radions and Im going to set them up vertically. My tank will be SPS heavy so i went with 2. Keep us posted on your tank growth. What kind of sump & skimmer are you running ? Your tank looks real sweet ! Congrats and good luck !

I have some spa frags in there and they seem to be doing great. I have polyp extension and they still have their colors. I really don't have any issues with shadowing and as far as of their is enough light I had two frags rtn on me bc light was too strong. Hope that helps.

Thanks for the kind words. I went with one bc I saw it over someone else's tank and they seem to be doing ok with sps. So I decided to give it a shot and have been doing well with it, have some growth and colors. The sump I made myself with a refuge in the middle and a reef octopus skimmer
