Ok, here's the scoop. I've got these very tiny, very smooth, shiny shelled snails that come out after lights out. I just happened to catch one slithering along under actinics only. They don't seem to do any harm, just wondering what their mother's might have named them  .

Thanks y'all,
Russ

Holy crap Kris. That was fast.
They've been in my tank forever. I've had clams in the tank for a year and a half now. They don't bother anything. Could they be pyramids? I guess.

Thanks for the quick comeback.

Anyone else?

Guys it is a carnivorious slug! It eat baby snails and anything fleshy that dies. They do serve there purpose however. I have them in my tank and whenever you see a dead snail those guys descend on it like flies to $hit.

Russ, just put a dead piece of shrimp in your tank and watch them come running.

Bring out the noose, oil up the gallows, draw and quarter him, flog him, stone him (wait, he might like that  ). Kris, I'm losing faith bud. Gotta get the salt flowing in those veins again.

Thanx for the stomatella id Samsky and everyone else.
