both of my perc. Clown fish can't close it's mouth

can someone please tell me why both my perc won't close their mouth. its been open for 3 days already and I've tried to give them food they swim after it but can't seem to be eating it because the mouth can't close. please help me

how long have you had them? how long have you had the tank for? corals and other fish in the tank? more info please. pic?

It sounds like they were fighting and locked mouths damaging both of them. Usually they heal from these things.

I've had the fish for 3 days I've had the tank for almost 2 months and I just got some zoanthus fishes there are 2 percs, and 3 clown goby they're tiny.

i agree with pratt.. thats exactly what came to mind when i read you post.. are they the same size? maybe fighting over whos gonna become the female or teritory battles

one is actually bigger than the other i hope thats the case if its ICH or parasite that would be pretty bad.

That's def it I have had many pairs of clowns go through this to determin gender selection, only other thing is that maybe they nEver got a tetnis shot
And now they have lock jaw!!
