LEDs with reefkeeper.

Just set everything up.

Worked fine. I go back to test them.
I turn on the pc4. And I get a slight hint of color.

When I turn off that particular socket. The LEDs flash. What gives?

Been at this for 4 hours. Cleaning up the wiring etc. everything worked the first 2 hours!!!

What LEDs? Custom or fixture?

Did you check the manufacturer forums? Did you check out RK forums?

I have AI LEDs and I just bought the AI controller. The RK needs like tons of add on hubs and such to get dimming etc to work. (so ive read on RK forums)

Depending on what Drivers you should only need the ALC to control your lights. Have you gone over the programming within the RK for them? You should be running the P series drivers if they are Meanwell's. Have ou adjusted the internal driver pot?

That?s a known issue with the ELN-60?s, when you cut the power and the dim wire is below 1VDC the driver discharges causes the string to flash. The easiest work around is to shut power at 11% or don?t cut the power.

Bobby, the drivers should be the D version not P as the Apex and RK controllers are not a PWM controller but analog; they will still work as I have been playing with my P drivers on both the typhoon (PMW) and Apex (analog) to control them without issue. The ALC is all you?ll need to dim the LEDs but you should only place 2 drivers per channel on the RK.

they worked before.
I had them lit for an hour.

I must of done something wrong!

If they were working as setup then check the dim wire, a slight glow shows you good power and connection from the driver to the LEDs. Very quick test is put the dim wire on a 9V battery, string should light up.

Just came home and everything was set up right. It works!!!

Only problem is that I can't turn it on. On command. Which I can deal with.

Called DA and said it was a firmware issue. My firmware is old.

Now since I only have macs in the house. I have to find a pc.

Well, one day. It works fine. Well see what tomorrow brings.

Is anyone available to help me finish my Rapid Led Build I only need to connect the Fans and adjust the current pods on both units of 24 led white/blue I had a friend solder everything and they all light just need some help to finish up as he lives a bit far from me....

Just to get an idea I am 1 mile from the GWB if anyone is able to help I would really really appreciate it as I can't wait to have these on my tank.
