RODI TDS is Not 0 ppm

Newly replaced filters (1 - 1-micron sediment filter, 1 - 0.5 micron carbon block, and 1 - DI resin refills). Also replaced the 75 gpd Filmtec RO membrane.

What is wrong with my system? - The RO and DI TDS are the same 6/7 ppm NEVER 0 ppm.

Is 6/7 ppm TDS safe for my Tank?

Tested my TDS tester w/ Poland Spring Water and the reading was 40 ppm

My Tap water was about 340-350 ppm

do you have the DI in upside down. alot of people put the cartridge in upside by mistake.

I would check your TDS meter against a known calibration standard before looking for problems in your filter (since all the components are relatively new).

Have you run at least 10 gallons through it? It can take that long for your TDS to drop to zero. Are you sure your TDS meter is calibrated correctly? They can drift out over time.

Yes - I ran it for a while - about 14 gallons of RO water.

Is di after ro in your setup? Check tds of water after ro only to try to isolate the problem.
