BB Crap eaters..

Besides using a gravel vac..are there any clean up crews that would eat the crap at the bottom at my tank...like snail crap..?..

How much snail crap can you have?....I have about 3 different types of snails in the sandbed and one sand sifting starfish.....and that works for me.

Why do you go BB if yo can't or don't want to keep the bare bottom cleaning? I doubt snails would eat fish crap, best bet is to vacuum off the detritus when you do water changes.

Now it's a riddle - what eats the crap of the crap eater... and what will eat the crap of the eater of the crap eater's crap...:lol2:

I kept a catfish once, and the sand bed was quite clean of fish crap(tigershark catfish - home to brackish waters but can live well in saltwater)

ideally, heavy flow should keep most crap from even settling on the bottom so the skimmer can pull it out
