Clown fish chewing on tank?

My clown has been chewing on the left corner of my tank for a week now. Just wondering if this is normal its always the same spot.

Someone else posted about a tank that the silicone was destroyed bc the clown picked at it.

Good thing she can't hurt anything its on top of the tank. It makes a noise when she bites it so I wonder if that's why she likes it. Maybe its like a toy to them.

If its the same spot all the time, maybe try putting epoxy over it or glue? Something more creative could work. My clown hangs out int he same area all the time also, but only bites my finger.

Check and see if there is any food or drop of food or flakes around. Clownfish can smell.

Otherwise id say you have one unhappy clown.

Clowns that do not host a anemone or coral will often choose an area of the tank to call home. So, its not odd that yours hangs out in same area...but the biting of the tank is odd to say the least.
