I see Hanna came out with Calcium checker. A few more new ones too. Would like to hear if you have one. Any feed back on they products would be good to hear. Don't like New Red Sea kits. Phosphate test not good at all....

I like the red sea kits i have so far, and i think the alk is the easiest i tried. I want to get some hanna kits also, the new calcium one gets very mixed reviews, some say it is very hard to use.
I use the Hanna low range Phos which is pretty accurate...they do water testing at the LIRA meetings with the good meter and it's close..all my other test kits are Saliferts...
Maybe I get Phos and Alk Hanna checkers.New Red Sea I was reading it wrong at first. I was off guard with the reading of these test at first. I PICK UP REEF FOUNDATION/ ALGAE CONTROL TEST KITS. Instead of just looking at what was left and looking at chart. You how to figure how much solution Used will be number your looking at chart.
The Hanna alkalinity checker and low range phosphate is useful. But I do not recommend the calcium checker. Even with zero TSS rodi water it can give wrong elevated readings. They actually suggest if you could not get water with absolutely zero calcium in it, to purchase their lab
grade distilled water for Accurate reading. I just rely on my salifert test kit for calcium
