Candy Cane Coral Feeding

I have been feeding my candy cane coral a variety of foods, in the morning when i first turn on the blue lights and its tentacle things are still out...

I was told or read somewhere to feed them once a week...

Would feeding them everyday be beneficial or end up hurting them?

It won't hurt, the candy canes in my tanks love it when I feed them rotiers or mysis. How quick they grow is more determined by your water condition and the flow near the candy cane. Mine seem to grow quicker in low flow areas of my tank.
