Octopus skimmer questions about skimmate etc

I have a 75 mixed reef with 5 fish, clam, urchin., corals.

I have a 20 fuge,20 sump.i have octopus nwb150 skimmer.
skimmer cup gets full in 2 weeks.is this fine?skimate is thick and dark. No matter how high the level inside skimmer, the inner neck gets lot of gunk.

Is the rate of skimming enough?

Anyway gunk collection in the neck be prevented?

i have to empty my cup on a octopus 1000int on 120gal, at least once a day! This skimmer is nasty.

depends on your bioload.. the longer it rund the better itll work but if you have it set to very dry itll take longer bc it has to build up the center neck before it blows over into the cup, you may want to make it wetter, by raising the water level inside the skimmer itll fill faster and youll get less buildup inside the neck.. but too high and you will be filling tyhe cup up with water everyday and your top off will be topping with fresh so your salinity may get affected..
