Cycle Question

Not a Noob but it's a noob question.lol.The brown diatom will go away with more light or less light?Doing 10 hours of white on my AI SOL Blue and the rest in blue.45% during the day.Should I increase it to 90 or even 100% or no whites?

Only works on fish .lol I will reduce the lighting

how long is your tank cycling for? also used dry rock and it taking a little long for the rock to cure for mr also.

Too much white promotes the diatom growth. Decrease the amount of whites and cut lighting by a few hours till its gone.

I actually tuned down the whites but it's so blue now but when I increased the whites to almost max,I can see some of it is finally turning green which I couldn't see when I had the whites down.Patience is not my strong suit but I want it to be all green and some purple before I consider corals.
