Lockline Salt Creep

I have salt creep on the top of my Lockline return sections.
The water surface has no disruptions that could splash and there is no other salt creep anywhere else so I am sure it is coming from the line itself.
This line is over a couple years old and I believe it water is seeping out of the joints. Is this common?

It does not sound bad, but to clean this involves the probability of dropping chunks of salt into the water. Which is ironically detrimental to the life within the tank.

Yes. Even when new in some cases. I just use a cup and scoop some water out of the tank to wash it off.

Considering adding some PVC elbows to submerge them.

I despise salt creep.

I get it all the time, also only on the locklines. It happens at the joints, which makes me think its from the air around it. For me its as easy as scooping some water and pouring it over the locklines.
