I'm saying in life in general. You get what you pay for. Were these fittings broke? Did he actually write an articulate email stating exactly what the issue was? Did they really ignore them?

Based in the OP's reply to this thread, im sure most people instantly discount him.

Just saying, if you are in business you always get the people that will never be happy no matter what you do or dont do. If there were more people to come into this thread and agree with the OP, I'd give him some merit. Again, just like the Hydor guy. Just because one random dude says a company is terrible, doesnt mean its true.

Look don't bash out the guy cause he's angry because he paid for something and it arrived broken. We all can totally see where he's coming from, because let's face it if we were in his situation I'm sure we would be mad too. The fact that you paid for something, no matter how much it is, it does not work and you basically wasted money.

As for my situation, I was asked by an admin to not disclose details or the name of the business, because this particular business is a vendor on here, and we are taking about Yonkers28's personal experience.

Thank you for informing us of this particular vendor! I for one will think twice before ordering anything from them, or any other vendor that has 1 bad feedback.

:rolleyes: sorry to hijack, but i understand your predicament. i'm a small business owner as well. i handle logistics & if freight doesn't get delivered on time or gets damaged, i will get an earful. customer service is key. my customers are my business. althought PWC isn't a MR vendor, calling out a vendor by name is frowned upon. i learned the hard & fast way - you can even get the thread deleted by admin without notice. all i wanted to get MR feedback if anyone else had a similar problem or if i did something wrong. although my situation dealt with livestock, surprisingly, at least 5 other MR members posted problems with the particular vendor. noone likes to post negative feedback unless you were really, really wronged. in my experience, ssome feel it's better to not post any feedback at all to preserve the vendor's integrity (just to stay in their good graces in the future for possible discounts.) it still doesn't prevent the vendor & the naysayers to post otherwise. as a businessman, i like to hear any negatives so i can correct/improve & provide better services in the future. just my $.05. :smash: for full disclosrue, i got my ro/di unit from bulk reef supply based upon their excellent track record & customer service!:thrash::groupflip

I bet you only work up in Yonkers.:happysad: I seem to get all the people in a rush, hence why I don't have much trust in hiring anyone to do work in my house.:(
Last plumber hired to put in a Gas Tankless Hot Water Heater was not as good as he proclaimed, and has been promising to come fix the issue for the past 10 months or so. Bad feedback doesn't seem to matter much to him.:headache:

not for nothing but i got mine off ebay 6+ years ago and still using it with no issue's, i do agree if you recieved broken parts they should respond or something, did you send a normal email or a angry one ? and alot of the ebay business's have other jobs and dont always get to check them as quickly

I'll add to the negative feedback.

Over a year ago they sent my buddy a unit that was missing parts. He tried and tried to get the parts without success and eventually gave up , he then purchased them from someone else. There customer service was not on par.

Hey guys seriously this thread got really carried away by a few individuals and for some reason matthewscars name pops into my head. The mr member is simply saying that he is not happy with the vendor. Stop getting crazy and listen to the member. I would not buy from a vendor with horrible customer service. And also please post feedback on the vendor in the appropriate place and hopefully everyone looks at that before making a horrible purchase. Thanks for the warning...
