(former) LIVEROCK FROM FRESHWATER TO SALTWATER?

RIDDLE ME THIS: What is the best process to take (former) Live rock from a freshwater tank into a saltwater one?
After bleaching/drying does it need a new cycle to become 'live' or can it be placed in an existing healthy tank and become seeded?

I wouldn't. Chances are you are going to introduce pollutants that were present in the tank and put it into SW.

Probably... let it cycle in someone else's FW tank and leave it there.

You're better off purchasing dry rock and then cycle in a rubbermaid

LOL,yeah..i had ALOT that i had in my 90gal african set-up i donated,so i considered it,but i'm not really trying to give myself extra headaches. if it's not a simple,it's not worth it(as far as this goes) so....LOL. thanks for the input guys

How about aragonite sand? I have about 30 PDS of aragonite sand in my African cichlid tank that I was planning on putting into a 57 gallon reef tank as a base. I was told that all I would have to do is give the aragonite sand a good rinse.
