My light is fixed :)

Just wanted to give everyone a heads up..it was the ballast that was the issue.

I learned something new - I had no idea that bulbs attached to the same ballast could continue to work if 'part' of the ballast broke. Which comes down to - I didn't know there could be different parts to the same ballast!

FYI - in my 5 bulb fixture a 'Workhorse 7' ballast runs lights 1 -3-5 and a Workhorse 5 ballast operates bulbs 2 & 4.
My issue was that bulbs # 1 # 2 & # 4 were lighting - so the portion of the Workhorse 7 ballast that makes bulbs 3 & 5 operate was toast.

The other good news was that I bought the ballast about 10 minutes away from my house :)
So I want to give a shout out to the place I got it in Lynbrook (just north of Sunrise Highway by Peninsula Blvd)..they had 24 of them in stock, so it seems like an all around good place to look for ballasts for our T5 fixtures!!

It cost me no more money that the ones I found on line where I would have to pay for shipping and wait for days to a week to receive it :spin:

One more shout out to those of you who answered the thread and pointed me in the right direction on the issue, the scematic for the ballast and where to get one locally..thanks guys!!!!!!!!!!!!

..now if these darned new bulbs would just burn in a bit...lol
