Who knew? Judging by the pic, would this classify as a clown trigger or a clown tang?

Hi Everyone,

I've had a few clown triggers before but never one that had an oppurtunity or an appetite for veggies but take a look at this pic. And now I've got two doing the same and they keep going in for more. Just thought I'd share this pic with you.

Anyone think of "Finding Nemo"?.....'Fish are friends NOT food!!!"

It's very common, not only for Clown Triggers but other Trigger as well to eat algae sheet or for that matter whatever you place in the tank. I have Grouper and Snappers also swallow Algae sheets too.

Nice to know, I've had them in my aggressive tank but never even thought to feed them vegetation. My triggers have always spit out anything that wasn't pellet, flake or frozen meat of some sort.

I read somewhere that greens might be beneficial for predator fish because the fish they pray on in the wild ingest greens and sometimes present in the pray fish stumach.

Thats interesting. I wonder if it goes further and they need partially digested greens?
